Software your organisation can run after we leave.

Pamstar is an IT consulting practice in Port Harcourt. We plan, design, and build websites and applications for organisations, and we put the scope in writing before the build starts.

  • Websites, applications, and advice
  • Based in Port Harcourt
  • Handed over in your name

What we do

Three kinds of work. Most engagements start with one and grow into another, once the organisation sees what the first one changed.

Websites

The public face of the organisation. We write the pages as well as design and build them, so a first-time visitor understands what you do and knows how to respond.

Typical work

  • Company and practice websites
  • Service pages with an enquiry form
  • Recruitment and careers pages
  • Rebuilding an outdated site

Applications

Software for a job your staff or customers already do, usually one that still runs on spreadsheets, paper forms, or long message threads.

Typical work

  • Staff portals and internal tools
  • Booking and scheduling
  • Job, stock, and asset tracking
  • Customer and case records

Advice

A clear view before money is spent, or a steady decision for a project that has stalled. We say what to build, what to buy, and what to leave alone.

Typical work

  • A review of current systems
  • Build or buy recommendations
  • Checking a supplier's proposal
  • Recovering a project in trouble

Who we work with

The work suits organisations where a lot depends on a few people, and where the day still runs through spreadsheets, paper forms, and message threads. Size matters less than that.

  • Energy and oilfield servicesJob records, crew scheduling, compliance documents
  • Health and clinicsAppointments, patient records, staff rotas
  • Schools and trainingAdmissions, results, and parent communication
  • Logistics and haulageDeliveries, vehicles, and proof of work
  • Property and estatesListings, tenants, and maintenance requests
  • Non-profits and associationsMembers, programmes, and reporting to funders

How we work

Every engagement follows the same four stages. Each one ends with something you can hold, so you always know where the work stands.

  1. Conversation

We talk to the people who do the work, not only the person who got in touch, and look at how the job is done today.

You receiveA short note of what we heard and what we suggest.
  2. Scope

We write down what will be built, what will be left out, the order of the work, and the price.

You receiveThe written scope, to agree before anything is built.
  3. Build

You see the working thing as it comes together, while it is still easy to change.

You receiveWorking versions to try, at each stage of the order.
  4. Handover

The site or application moves into your hands, with what your team needs to look after it.

You receiveAccess, accounts, and a short guide, all in your name.

Ways to engage

Lengths are typical, not promised. The written scope sets the real timetable and the price for each piece of work.

Questions

If yours is not here, ask it in your first email.

How much does it cost?

Each piece of work is priced against its written scope, so the cost is agreed before the build starts. If the scope is not clear yet, a review is a smaller first step that is priced on its own.

Who owns the website or application?

Your organisation does. Domains, hosting accounts, and code are set up in your name, and you receive the access at handover.

Can you take over a project someone else started?

Yes. We start with a review of what already exists, then say plainly whether to continue it, repair it, or start again.

Do you work outside Port Harcourt?

Yes, across Nigeria and abroad, when the work can be done clearly at a distance. Meetings in Port Harcourt can be in person.

Do you look after hosting?

We can set up and look after hosting, or hand it to your own IT team. Either way, the account stays in your organisation's name.

Tell us about the work.

A short note is enough. We reply to say whether we can take it on, and what the first conversation should cover.
